TJ Maxx hires employees year round to fill a variety of positions. When filling out an application for TJ Maxx, keep in mind that you can also use the same employment application to apply to Marshalls and HomeGoods.

Employment Application

You can visit any TJ Maxx store located nearby to inquire about current job openings. You should be prepared ahead of time by filling out and printing the online employment application form and bringing it with you to the location. In addition to applying in person, you can choose to create an online profile in the TJ Maxx data base for employment. They keep applications on file for up to 6 months, after the six months you can re-apply, ensuring your application is available when your qualifications meet the employment needs of TJ Maxx.


TJ Maxx will contact eligible and qualified applicants for an interview. Interviews are usually held in-person at the location where the position is available. The interview is commonly conducted by a supervisor or manager of the store. At times, a second interview will be held, however it is rare.

Interview Questions

Interview questions will vary depending on the type of job you are seeking to obtain. Common interview questions will be in regards to your previous work experience, education and scheduling availability.
